Continuing education for veterinarians in Switzerland

Animal Care - Insights into the Strubeli Animal Shelter

Our veterinarians from the Balkans attend a 2-day seminar in Switzerland.

2-day seminar for our veterinarians from Kosovo

Back in 2017, our vet, DVM Blendi Bejdoni, was able to spend a day at the Strubeli animal shelter and familiarise himself with day care for the dogs. He was thus able to gain valuable insights into the care and care of dogs.

Two years later, in 2019, our employee Shkumbin was able to work at Strubeli for two full days. During this time, he was not only able to get to know the routine processes in an animal shelter, but also experience first-hand the responsibility and dedication of the employees. He was particularly impressed by the comprehensive care of the dogs. In addition to the supply of food and water, attention is also paid to medical care, hygiene and social interaction. These impressions really impressed him and deepened his understanding of working in an animal shelter.

We would like to thank the great Strubeli team for their hospitality and valuable cooperation!

We will once again send employees to Strubeli in 2020. Although this is only a two-day stay, even this short period of time enables our employees to develop a basic understanding of animal caretaker training. You will learn first-hand what high animal care and requirements are placed on in Switzerland.

It is very regrettable that there is no training as an animal keeper in Kosovo. It is therefore all the more important to pass on this valuable knowledge. We would therefore like to invite specialists to share their know-how. We cover travel expenses and transportation for trained, English-speaking specialists who are willing to make a valuable contribution to improving animal care in Kosovo.
