Give a gift of sponsorship! The animals and their friends thank you! Food with care costs 40 euros per month - if possible. With 30 euros, we can buy food.
With a regular annual contribution of Fr. 500 or more, you promote the long-term goals of our animal welfare organization. They give us security with regard to deployment planning and allow a forward-looking organization.
Stray dogs benefit from every donation!
Monetary donations
Above all, support us with financial donations, as this will help us save many dogs from illness and suffering. With 5000 euros, we can treat 100 dogs. With 20,000 euros, 400 street dogs can be helped. Vaccinated, fed and castrated dogs generally have a better life on the streets.
Our work also prevents dogs and puppies from being abandoned. Since 2017, we castrated dogs from private owners, mostly farmers and shepherds, who cannot afford veterinary treatment. Prevention is part of the stray dog program.
However, prevention also includes supporting legislative work and helping where funds are lacking in the veterinary office so that all dogs can be helped sustainably. This includes pet registration. But billboards pointing to the ban on suspension were also repeatedly part of our campaign.
Regular donations allow us to plan in advance. Sponsorships also allow us to keep sick dogs in the sanctuary, provide them with adequate shelters and fences, and train workers to care for dogs. Everything is missing here!
And finally, you are helping people, currently in Kosovo, to live with the dogs without fear and being endangered. Information days in schools give children safety when handling dogs. Please donate and share our projects on social networks... We report regularly in newsletters as well as on Facebook and Instagram.
How much does it cost?
- Sanctuary and Clinic Infrastructure 920 euros per month
- Castration: 50 euros per dog
- Castration and vaccinations 60 euros per dog
- Vaccines: 6 to 8 euros (rabies, DHPPL)
- Mange treatment: 60 euros with 5 repetitions
- Euthanasia: 25 euros (for very sick or dangerous dogs)
- Dog in the Sanctuary: 40 euros per month
- Operations (carcinoma, amputation) from 250 euros
- Dog house: 240 euros
100% of donations go to caring for a dog, which also requires minimal infrastructure.
SPONSORSHIPS
We run 4 sanctuaries in Kosovo with currently around 80 disabled and sick dogs that need your regular support. Just ask if there is a new addition. 40 euros per month pay for food and care, and 55 euros also pay for vaccinations and other veterinary services. With 30 euros, we buy a food bag per month.
Sponsoring our street dogs is also very welcome, as there are thousands of them.
With a monthly contribution of 60 euros, you pay for castration, vaccinations and feeding. With this monthly contribution, you are helping a street dog get a treatment that effectively makes their life easier. On request, you will receive a photo of your sponsorship dog with the brand number and location/date of the procedure.
More and more people are choosing to hand over their assets to organizations and foundations after death and are thus taking on a great deal of responsibility for future generations.
When you make a contribution to the animal welfare organization StrayCoco, you are contributing to the health of the population in a disease transmitted by rabies and other contagious diseases transmitted by dogs (in particular echinococcus).

TAX EXEMPTION
Under the name StrayCoCo Foundation, there is an animal welfare foundation within the meaning of Art. 80ff ZKB, which is subject to civil law supervision by the Federal Department of Home Affairs. The organization is selflessly dedicated to financial support for root cause research, documentation and evaluation as well as education and education regarding stray dogs and supports projects for sustainable intervention in connection with street dogs. As a legal entity that pursues a charitable purpose, the foundation is exempt from tax liability in the Canton of Zurich. Depending on cantonal tax law, you can deduct your donation to us in whole or in part from your income.
For your tax return, you will receive a donation receipt at the beginning of each year showing all your contributions over the previous year.

Investment in the infrastructure of the Sanctuary and the Gjakova Veterinary Clinic
This stable building was initially located in the rented Nagavc/Kosovo Sanctuary and was made possible thanks to the generous donation of Dr. N. Bernhard from “Animals First & Only”, Switzerland. In November 2018, the stable was transferred to the newly built Gjakova Sanctuary, where Dr. Bernhard financed a second stable.
For the first time, our disabled or ailing dogs have solid shelter for the winter, which can be very tough in Kosovo. Filled with litter, dogs find protection there from snow, hail and rain. They immediately took ownership of the stable together!
