Neutering and Vaccination Campaigns in Kosovo since 1.1.2015

Veterinarians Explain and Inform

At its last meeting, the Board of Trustees of the StrayCoCo Foundation decided on the following change of direction for Kosovo, effective January 1, 2027: Regional spay/neuter and vaccination campaigns will be handed over to the municipalities, and the foundation will increasingly focus on prevention. For 11 years, StrayCoCo has introduced successful models for reducing the stray dog population in Kosovo, which only work if consistently practiced and if legal frameworks for abandoning pets are adjusted.

We are proud to soon open the fourth large small animal clinic in the countryside. This marks the final milestone in Kosovo for treating pets outside the capital. Pet owners in Kosovo are invited to utilize the expertise of our partner veterinarians as well as the well-equipped small animal clinics.

We will continue to support qualified animal welfare work. Those interested in a project that would utilize our small animal clinics are invited to contact us with their proposal.

The expanded infrastructure in rural Kosovo is there for everyone – because we understand the economic principle: SUPPLY CREATES DEMAND – all animals deserve better care!
