Visit to Aurora Team Fehraltdorf/Switzerland
In December 2022, DVM Labinot Osmani, a dedicated vet from Kosovo, had the opportunity to do a one-week internship with Dr. med. vet. Beat Indermaur at the renowned small animal practice in Fehraltorf, Switzerland. This valuable experience gave him the opportunity to experience everyday challenges in a well-established veterinary practice. In addition to treating dogs and cats, he had the opportunity to treat emergencies and gain deeper insights into the practice and management of a veterinary business.
The internship enabled him to further deepen his knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of everyday illnesses and complex medical conditions. Particularly noteworthy was the opportunity to work in a highly professional environment that offers a broad range of experience and a modern approach to animals and their health.
Dr. Indermaur and his team always provided DVM Osmani with their expertise and gave him helpful tips and instructions on handling animals, in particular with regard to veterinary emergencies and preventive measures. This was a valuable opportunity to further expand and refine the experience gained in day-to-day work in Kosovo.
We are the Aurora - Team thankful for the friendly welcome and support. It was a great opportunity to learn from the best in the industry and gain valuable experience, which DVM Osmani will continue to use in his work with street dogs and animals in his home country. Such international collaborations are an important part of our joint work to improve animal welfare and veterinary medicine
