Dear animal lovers

It is time to thank you all for your support and interest. It was only thanks to you that some projects were successfully implemented. But sustainability looks different.

We ask ourselves whether we want to offer endless neutering and vaccinations for stray dogs in Kosovo and Montenegro, or whether we want to achieve more. We have been active in this country for 7 years. The course has been set, laws to register dog owners are in force, but the Kosovo Veterinary Office is still staffed by the old incompetent guard. We have high hopes for Prime Minister Albin Kurti's new government, but Kosovo offers many other areas of tension that appear to him to be a priority. The fact that the country's citizens are suffering from the many strays, not to mention the dogs and their suffering, has not reached President Vjosa Osmani and the Prime Minister. Except endless meetings and lots of words, lots of promises! Nothing is moving.

In 2022, we will once again do everything we can to ensure that fundamental changes are introduced and that the suspensions slowly come to an end. Our campaign with posters is currently on the road across the country, a cooperation with Animal Rights Foundation Kosovo. But even this consists of only 2 people who cannot be in all places at the same time. We wish they would be supported by you — directly or through us!
